| The Music and Ministry of Gene Dowell -
Reverend Gene Dowell is an anointed minister of the Gospel who, before finding true joy and peace, spent 19 years singing in night clubs. In February 1978, after receiving Jesus as his Lord and Savior in Jacksonville, Florida, Gene was supernaturally delivered from his bonds to drugs and alcohol. Sensing the call of God upon his life, Gene moved his family, wife Betty and daughters Carrie, Kristin, and Kamaran to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in order to attend RHEMA Bible Training Center. Before graduating in 1987, Gene was extensively involved in the music ministry of RHEMA Bible Church where he was an active soloist.
Since graduating, God blessed Gene with the opportunity to minister His love, peace and grace throughout the United States through evangelism and serving as pastor in Southern California for several years. Brother Gene has ministered the Word of God through many radio and television outlets, in addition to several prisons and Christian business meetings. God has also used him to deliver His Word through music as a recording artist.
Brother Gene is currently the pastor of Family Worship Center in Shelbyville, Kentucky, a growing church which he pioneered in 2006.
